Navigational System for the Visually Impaired
A new navigational system for the blind and partially sighted is set to revolutionise the way blind people find their way in a world of sight and sound.
Nav4Blind is an innovative navigational system which draws on existing navigational tools and technology, such as GPS, to pinpoint exact locations and accurately lead the blind to where they choose to go. While Nav4Blind is still in the first phase of development, it has caused a stir, scooping up several awards for its ingenuity.
